SCAQMD LAP-Approved

Source Testing — SCAQMD LAP-Approved

Criteria pollutants. Air toxics. Full protocol-to-report service for permitted facilities across Southern California.

What We Test

Every Pollutant Your Permit Covers

We handle the whole job end–to–end — consultation against your permit, source test plan and protocol submitted to your governing officer, and the testing itself. Thirty–five plus years in, we take care of everything so your team can keep running.

Criteria Pollutants

Methods grouped by jurisdiction. Match your permit to the column that applies.

Our Process

How It Works: Protocol to Report

1

Scope and Protocol

You tell us what equipment needs testing and what the permit says. We write the protocol and submit it to SCAQMD for approval.

2

Scheduling

We work around your production schedule. The test needs representative operating conditions — we'll coordinate with your operations team to find the right window.

3

On-Site Testing

Our crew runs the methods with calibrated analyzers that meet every regulatory spec. Gaseous pollutants get real-time analysis. Particulates and toxics get isokinetic sampling.

4

QA/QC and Data Reduction

Every data point gets checked against calibration records, method requirements, and your permit limits. If something looks off, we catch it on-site — not in the report.

5

Report

Complete source test report with calculations, supporting data, and documentation. Ready for SCAQMD submission within the 60-day window.

Experience Matters

Why Getting It Right the First Time Matters

A failed source test doesn’t just mean re–testing fees. It means another mobilization, another round of scheduling with your operations team, and a possible fine or no–operation order on that unit from your district. Every day in that window is a risk.

We’ve been permitted on every method we run for decades, across boilers, heaters, ovens, turbines, baghouses, oxidizers, scrubbers, and well beyond. Your test plan is built on that experience, not guesswork.

Schedule Your Test

Tell us what equipment needs testing and when your deadline is. We'll get you on the schedule.
